Lacy shows Lark and Ralph her magical healing processes through the medium of tattooing. Refusing to partake in the healing process, Sully instead works on planning their next excursion, perhaps as a means to occupy his mind as the following morning he speaks to his niece for the first time in a decade, but why doesn’t she want to speak to him?

Leaving home is never easy, but after reading and learning about you all, it seems that it’s sometimes harder to return. And in the world I’m obeserving, walking away (or in this situation, pushed away) often means you never see them again. I wonder if Sully ever considered that he’d never see his younglings again when he left.
